A CASE STUDY IN SUCCESS: THE BANKS BUILDING

After acquiring the 90 year old, 156,000 square foot multi-story industrial building known to many in the Twin Cities as the "BANKS BUILDING", Schafer Richardson renovated and converted the building to class "A" loft office space. This building, located in Northeast Minneapolis, won the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks (NAIOP) 2001 "AWARD OF EXCELLENCE" in the Repositioned/Renovated category. The property was also a finalist for the 2002 CityBusiness "Best in Real Estate" award. Today, Schafer Richardson occupies the fifth floor of the building along with Griffin Real Estate Company. Market leading rents and occupancy have been achieved in a challenging leasing environment.
